Payments & Virtual Items Policy

GoldenSocialPlay.com (New Zealand) • Last updated: 25 March 2026

1) Optional purchases

Golden Social Play Limited may offer optional in‑app purchases such as virtual currency, virtual items, or feature access (“Virtual Items”). Purchases are not required to use the service.

2) Pricing, taxes & recurring charges

  • Prices are shown at checkout before you confirm payment and may vary by device platform and location.
  • Where applicable, New Zealand GST and any store fees are included or shown as required at checkout.
  • We do not charge recurring fees unless a subscription/recurring offer is clearly presented and you actively opt in. If you subscribe, it renews until cancelled in your account/store settings.

3) What you receive

After a successful payment, your account is typically credited with the purchased Virtual Items immediately (or within a short period). Virtual Items may be subject to usage rules, limits, or expiry as displayed in the product description or in‑app.

4) No real‑world value

  • Virtual currency and Virtual Items are provided for entertainment purposes only.
  • They are not money, do not have monetary value, and cannot be exchanged for cash or cash equivalents.
  • You receive a limited, revocable licence to use Virtual Items within GoldenSocialPlay.com; ownership does not transfer to you.

5) Delivery issues

If Virtual Items are not delivered, appear incorrect, or disappear, please contact us with your account identifier, the date/time of purchase, and a receipt/order ID. We may verify with the payment provider/store and, where appropriate, re‑credit items or provide another remedy.

6) Refunds, cancellations & chargebacks

  • Platform purchases: If you paid via Apple App Store, Google Play, or another platform, refunds are handled under that platform’s refund policy and you should request a refund there first.
  • Direct purchases: If you paid us directly, refunds may be available depending on the circumstances (for example, non‑delivery, faulty service, or an error). New Zealand generally does not require a refund for change‑of‑mind.
  • Chargebacks: Unauthorised payments should be reported to your bank/payment provider immediately and to us. Chargebacks may result in reversal of credited Virtual Items and/or account restrictions where permitted by law and our Terms.

7) New Zealand consumer rights

If you are a consumer in New Zealand, you may have rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (for example, services must be carried out with reasonable care and skill) and the Fair Trading Act 1986 (misleading conduct is prohibited). Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.
